Ep # 30: Mike and Pam Turner

The SEASON 2 FINALE is here!

We have been saving this one for awhile, and are excited to share our conversation with the Turners.  Mike is the Head Pastor of Lexington Baptist Church and has served there for over 15 years.  All together Mike and Pam have spent over 40 years in ministry. 

This episode focuses on their family, their ministry together (and separate), and some of their favorite things to do.  Whether that is facetiming with the Grandchildren, Gardening, or spending time on the porch. We get an inside look into what a week looks like for them and all that comes with Pastoring such a large community of believers.  Mike is one of the most genuine and available Head Pastors you will find.  Even with his busy schedule, you can always find him making time for others and pouring into the lives of young men in the Church. 

Mrs. Pam is not your typical Pastor's wife, admittedly so.  She even has more degrees than Pastor Mike.  She utilizes all her gifts in many different ways and she was gracious enough to share those with us.  She also chose to share a recent point in their marriage where they both felt a little distant.  This vulnerability was so refreshing and will allow you to feel more connected with both of them.  Their wisdom is undeniable but it is not to be outdone by their passion for the Gospel. Even in off-topics it pours out of both of them.
